What happens after ‘hello’ can change our lives. We get our dream job, meet our mate or make friends forever; all it takes is the courage to communicate. As students of language know, reading, and even writing, can be done in our own time with dictionaries and online tools to help us, that’s the theory. However, ‘live’, flowing and stimulating conversation is a different matter, we only have our knowledge and bravura to rely on, that’s the practice. At Semantics, we recognise that when our language students enjoy regular, varied and lively conversations they stretch their previous capacities and build their conversational muscle.
Practical Details
- Conversation tables from pre-intermediate level
- Goal: increasing your fluency and verbal dexterity, expanding your vocabulary
- Chaired by a native speaker for guidance and correction
- Dutch/French & English conversation tables (other languages available on demand)
- Minimum number of participants 3 up to a maximum of 10
- During the lunch break: 12.00-13.00 or 13.00-14.00
- A minimum of 2 consecutive groups per language
- Frequency: 1 or 2 twice per week
- Location: in-company
- Total duration: 20 hours
